May began warmly as to weather but soon reverted to chilly days and nights. People still are coming to see the dealers so there is a feeling of hope for a lot of us.

Our ranks are increasing with the following new members: Daniel Buck Appraisers, Lisbon, Maine and Whitney Park Antiques of Herman, Maine joined up last month and there are more applications coming in.

Nancy Prince has joined the board as Second Vice President and we welcome her. She will host the next board meeting in May.

Excitement is building for the “Antiques in the Gardens” Show on July 22 to 24 in beautiful Boothbay Harbor. We are still searching for the perfect venue for the Maine Dealer's Show which has been on hold pending the search committee's findings.

Joe Bent has produced the new Membership Directory and Shop Guide with many accolades for his reorganization of Member's Specialties and general appearance of the booklet. This took a lot of his time and members' suggestions to get this published. Thank him when you see him!
